I once read that you do not choose fly fishing, it chooses you. That's the way it was for me. I don't really know why I felt the need to start tying flies. I think in a way, this was fly fishing choosing me, and fly tying was how it got me. Lots of people ask me, why do I fly fish, but in order for them to really understand, they need to try it and experience fly fishing for themselves.

These people need to feel the seduction as the line goes through the air, when it loads just perfect, sending the fly across the water like a rocket, yet landing it like a feather. Fly fishing takes people to beauty that most will only see in photographs. It exposes us to a different world. Be part of it.
