I once read that you do not choose fly fishing, it chooses you. That's the way it was for me. I don't really know why I felt the need to start tying flies. I think in a way, this was fly fishing choosing me, and fly tying was how it got me. Lots of people ask me, why do I fly fish, but in order for them to really understand, they need to try it and experience fly fishing for themselves. |

These people need to feel the seduction as the line goes through the air, when it loads just perfect, sending the fly across the water like a rocket, yet landing it like a feather. Fly fishing takes people to beauty that most will only see in photographs. It exposes us to a different world. Be part of it. |
